Always trying to steal the show!
As always we arrived fashionably late to the holiday party on Saturday. There weren't enough seats to begin with and when you're late you can just forget finding a place to set down your coats, purse of diaper bag. There were so many people there, I was shocked. Some kids were still going through treatment, some had been off treatment for years. We ran into many of the families we spent time with on 4 Henson, and they all looked wonderful! We were even able to welcome one little girl over to the other side, she's OFF TREATMENT!!! That's such a great club to join! Like us they were still trying to find their way in this new world of post cancer family life. We counseled them on the struggles and fear that come with post treatment life. Mariah is such a doll we're glad to see her finished!
Our little Chelsea managed to steal the dance floor! She was dancing up a storm and was even joined by another little girl with Down syndrome. Of course I had to keep her in check as she tried to smuggle any child smaller than her that attempted to dance. She just has a thing for little kids, she tries to love on them and ends up tackling them.
The DJ was getting the kids all riled up and each time they would answer him, Chelsea got excited and would join in the yelling! She was so loud she caught the DJ's attention. How could he not notice this cutie though?
Santa brought gifts for all of the kids in the family. Logan expressed his disappointment in front of the crowd as we attempted to hurry him out of the party. Nothing is ever good enough for him and he has no shame in letting his voice be heard. Santa gave him a eensy lego set, w/ the mini legos. They're tiny pieces, the size of a pea. Oh, and there are 268 of them! Chelsea received a lite brite set. Remember those, the light up machines that you put the black paper on and stick the pegs in to make a picture. Her toy has over 400 pieces! Thank you Santa ;)
Logan showing off his face paintings!
Fun and Games!
We also ran in to our buddy Karlee at the party! We sure do miss our friends! (And Karlee will be joining us on the other side soon!!!)

I love the face painting.
Chelsea looks great! I'm glad to see her smiling little face.
As for Logan, well you gotta love their honesty. :-)
Her hair is getting so long! She looks so beautiful in her Christmas dress! They looked like they were having a great time!
Chelsea looks so beautiful and happy. I'm glad she had a great time. We can't wait to join you guys on the "Other Side"! Almost there.
