Oh the things they say!

We went to the zoo yesterday and I just HAVE to share what my handsome little man said. We were watching the gorilla and he was facing us.

Logan: Is he looking at us?
Me: Yes he is.
Logan: I bet he's thinking bout how tute Chelsea is...

AHHH. Isn't he just the sweetest big brother?!!!

Since we were outside eating a picnic at the park next to the zoo, we heard the sirens going off (they go off every Monday at noon). Logan has been watching the Wizard of Oz lately and so he gets a little jumpy, but when he asked why the sirens were going off I just answered, "there's no tornado, it just means it's Monday at noon." So without another thought we went on with our day.

Fast forward to today, we're eating lunch and the windows and doors are open because it's BEAUTIFUL outside! Well the sirens go off today (Tuesday) because the city is testing them and all the schools are practicing tornado drills. You can imagine my surprise when Logan pipes up ever so casually, "It's Monday at noon!"

hehe. I just love being home and enjoying these sweet little moments. I sat out in the hammock swing tonight. It's such a beautiful night. I don't think I've ever just gone outside at night during the week and sat down by myself to enjoy the evening. It's so nice to just sit down and take a deep breathe every now and then.
