Buddy Walk 2006 ~ Choosing Chelsea

This year's theme was Choosing Chelsea. It is difficult to accept that your child has a disability, that they will be different, that they will struggle. While we had a difficult time accepting this for some time, the year was all about loving Chelsea for who she is,...beautiful, happy, loving, and absolutely PERFECT!!! We have chosen to accept her,... Choosing Chelsea.

Here is our entire team. We had 10 members our first year out! Not too bad!

Our first Buddy Walk was amazing!!! We had so much fun, playing, eating and walking of course! There were so many people. People of all ages, sizes, color...so much diversity, it's beautiful to see. Chelsea had many admirers. As always, people were stopping us to look at her all day long. She's so beautiful strangers just can't resist!
