Merry Christmas 2009
Last year at this time
Who would’ve ever guessed,
Our lives would fall into place
And we’d be so incredibly blessed?
A big milestone for Dad
A semester under his belt,
Nursing school is no breeze -
Stress he has definitely felt.
Our family this year
Represents four schools in the state.
You’ll hear all our cheers,
When we watch Dad graduate!
With Dad off the job
Mom had to pick up her whistle.
Kindergarten’s fun,
But I await the dismissal.
An extra challenge I find
In the classroom each day.
Teaching in two languages,
Keeps the boredom away!
First grade’s all about friends
For our inquisitive guy.
Logan’s embarrassed by mom,
No more kisses goodbye.
He’s an excellent reader
And can spell with success.
But ask his favorite subject
It’s hands down – recess.
Chelsea’s returned to pre-K,
With the same teacher - new school.
Learning more words everyday,
Just wish she’d master the stool.
We celebrated life in May,
One-year post chemo’s not bad!
Our lil’ honored hero ’09,
Was the cutest they’ve had!
It’s hard to believe,
The year’s coming to an end.
