Good Night

Ryan left for school tonight and kissed both kids on his way out the door.

"Good night, I'll see you Saturday."

"Good night, see ya Saturday," Logan replies, oblivious to the fact that it is only Wednesday.

Ryan and I look at each other and smile.

He's right. Class from 5-10 tonight, then he works at the hospital Thursday and Friday 7a-7p (realistically though he leaves at 6am and gets home around 8pm). The kids sleep 7:30-7:30. It's a drag. Poor Daddy. Poor Mommy. Ryan's final for physiology is on May 11. I can hardly wait, I'm ready to have our life back.

Isaiah 40:18-31
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
