Our speech pathologist w/ TARC came to the house this morning. She gave us some more ideas to wok w/ Chelsea and took a good look at how she's doing right now. She's saying a few sounds, du, ba, wa, ta I can't remember them all. She isn't however putting two different sounds together, mabababa etc. She's signing more, eat, milk, all done, and of course she waves hi and bye. Most of her signs she has to be prompted for. For example when she's hungry she doesn't start signing 'eat'. Hopefully she'll do that soon. That would help with the guessing game we play everytime she's upset (which really isn't that often). Over all she's functioning at 12-14 mo for receptive language and 6-9 mo. for expressive. That means we need to get her babbling more and initiating her signs.

Glad that she is doing well, and don't worry she will babble more, and sign more. Her and Rhett are really doing the same things, It just amazes me! Hugs to you guys!
