Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to Chelsea, happy birthday to you!
It was quite a day, Chelsea woke up and had a new tooth on top! It's really big, her teeth are so CUTE!!!
We had all her favorite foods for dinner: scalloped potatoes, mac and cheese, applesauce, peaches, green beans, and of course mint chocolate chip milk shakes. She ate so much we thought she was going to burst! Her little tummy was so full! After we ate she opened a couple of presents. Chelsea has been waving a lot lately so we're always acting goofy and saying, "HIIIII Chelsea!" Well she responded tonight. Here's footage of her first word. Can you believe it???!!! She's a little grouchy and tired in the video, but I swear she's saying it. Towards the end it starts to sound a little like "ahhhh", but clearly, she's saying her first word! See for yourself.

How sweet, she said her first word on her first birthday! What a sweetie.
