Prayers for Claire

Please keep our friend Claire in your thoughts and prayers. I posted about her a while back, that she had relapsed, and they found out earlier this month that she had relapsed again. Her mom was pregnant and her due date was last Thursday - the same day Claire was scheduled for scans. The great news is the scans showed the cancer hadn't spread. What is unbelievable is Claire's momma went into labor the day of the scans! They had one week home as a family and today there was a cancellation so Claire went in to surgery. The first update is a good one, she needs lots of prayers that they got all of the cancer, that Claire will recover well, and that the surgeon was able to keep her organs safe and functioning. It was a very complicated surgery. We knew Claire was a special little baby girl when we first met her at Children's last spring. Keep fighting baby Claire!!!
